General Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iftest Medical Manufacturing AG uses this Privacy Policy to explain what personal data is processed, how, where and for what purposes, both in connection with the website iftest.ch and the domains <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iftest.swiss\">www.iftest.swiss<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iftest.de\">www.iftest.de<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iftest.sk\">www.iftest.sk<\/a>, which redirect to the Swiss domain, as well as in connection with its other services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iftest Medical Manufacturing AG processes personal data only lawfully and in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In this context, Iftest Medical Manufacturing AG implements the necessary technical and organisational security measures to protect users\u2019 personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iftest Medical Manufacturing AG (hereinafter referred to as \u201cIMM\u201d) uses its corporate website iftest-medical.ch (hereinafter referred to as the \u201cWebsite\u201d) to present the company and its services and manufacturing solutions in the fields of electronics and medical technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In principle, the Website can be visited and used without providing personal data. However, when visiting the Website, IMM collects and processes certain technical data that is necessary for the operation, security and optimisation of the Website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this Privacy Policy, IMM informs users about the nature, scope and purpose of the data collected and processed, as well as the rights available to them under applicable data protection law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Categories of Data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The data collected by IMM depends on the services to be provided. For example, we require names, addresses, payment information and other contact details in order to process an order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IMM may process the following data in accordance with applicable legal requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contact and identification data, such as surname, first name, title, address, email address, telephone number and customer number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personal information, such as age, gender and nationality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>User account information, such as username, password and user account number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financial data, such as account information, payment information and payment history.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contract data, such as type of contract, contract content, type of products and services, applicable terms and conditions, contract start date and contract duration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Website information, such as website visited, IP address, cookie information, browser settings, frequency and duration of website visits, search terms, shopping cart contents, clicks on content and referring website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Purpose of Processing and Legal Basis<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die IfteIftest Medical Manufacturing AG processes personal data only lawfully. Personal data is processed for the following purposes; the respective legal basis is indicated in parentheses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Processing of orders and contracts (performance of a contract)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Credit checks (legitimate interest in reducing losses resulting from unpaid invoices)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Debt collection (legitimate interest in enforcing outstanding payments and complying with Swiss legal requirements)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quality of services (legitimate interest in customer satisfaction, competitiveness and compliance with Swiss legal requirements)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customer support (legitimate interest in customer satisfaction, competitiveness and compliance with Swiss legal requirements)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marketing (legitimate interest in carrying out marketing activities)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organisation of events and participation in third-party events (pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Further development of our services (legitimate interest in customer satisfaction and competitiveness)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prevention of misuse (legitimate interest in preventing damage and complying with Swiss legal requirements)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compliance with legal requirements (legal obligation and legitimate interest in complying with Swiss legal requirements)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The legal basis for processing data relating solely to visitors to the Website is IMM\u2019s legitimate interest (Art. 31 para. 1 FADP \/ Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). This interest primarily consists in ensuring a secure and functional Website and safeguarding the integrity, confidentiality and availability of the data processed via the Website. In addition, as part of its business activities, IMM has a legitimate interest in efficiently analysing the use and quality of the Website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the Website, Iftest Medical Manufacturing AG also provides its customers with the option of contacting IMM via a contact form. When submitting an enquiry, users are informed of this Privacy Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By using the contact form, the respective user expressly consents to the processing of the personal data provided in the contact form (Art. 31 para. 1 FADP \/ Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). The information required in the contact form is used to process and assign the enquiry and to enable IMM to contact the respective user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5. Processing of Personal Data by Third Parties, Including Abroad<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal data may be processed by commissioned third parties, jointly with third parties, with the assistance of third parties, or transferred to third parties. These are always third parties whose services are used by Iftest Medical Manufacturing AG (e.g. a cloud service provider or the Website\u2019s hosting provider).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Such third parties are generally located in Switzerland and the European Economic Area (EEA). However, in connection with the operation of the Website, Iftest AG uses certain technology service providers (see Sections 8 and 9 below), some of which are based outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, Iftest AG ensures that the transfer of data is subject to appropriate safeguards. In particular, it is ensured that providers based in the United States are certified under the Privacy Shield. Otherwise, Iftest AG enters into standard contractual clauses with these service providers that are recognised by the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or approved by the European Commission (Art. 16 et seq. FADP \/ Art. 44 et seq. GDPR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Retention Period<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a general rule, Iftest Medical Manufacturing AG stores processed personal data only for as long as it is required for the specific purpose for which it is processed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With regard to visitors who merely access the Website, the data processed in this context is stored for as long as necessary to ensure the proper display of the Website. Personal data collected via the contact form is generally stored only until the user\u2019s enquiry has been processed and the matter in question has been conclusively resolved. The processed personal data is then deleted. In individual cases, data may be retained for a longer period where required by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. When these elements are retrieved from our servers, we can determine whether and when you opened the email. This enables us to measure and better understand how you use our services and to tailor them to you. You can block these elements in your email application; most email applications can be configured accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By using our websites and consenting to receive newsletters and other marketing emails, you consent to the use of these technologies. If you do not wish to consent to their use, you must configure your browser or email application accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iftest Medical Manufacturing AG also has a separate Cookie Policy, which is available under <strong>Cookie Policy (EU) \u2013 Iftest<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7.2 Plugins<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7.2.1 LinkedIn and Xing<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IMM integrates components or social plugins from the LinkedIn and Xing social networks into its Website (Xing operator: New Work SE, Am Strandkai 1, 20457 Hamburg, Germany; LinkedIn operator: LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iftest AG itself does not collect any personal data via the social plugins or through their use. The LinkedIn and Xing social plugins are integrated into the Iftest Medical Manufacturing AG Website solely as graphics. These graphics contain links to the LinkedIn and Xing websites, respectively. By clicking on a graphic, the user is redirected to the respective LinkedIn or Xing service or website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By clicking on the social plugin, LinkedIn or Xing receives information that the user has visited IMM\u2019s Website. If the user is simultaneously logged into their LinkedIn or Xing account while visiting IMM\u2019s Website, LinkedIn or Xing may directly associate the data collected via the social plugin with the respective user account. This association can be prevented by logging out of the LinkedIn or Xing account before using IMM\u2019s Website or clicking on the social plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further information on the collection, processing and use of personal data by LinkedIn is available in the <strong>LinkedIn Privacy Policy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further information on the collection, processing and use of personal data by Xing is available in the <strong>Xing Privacy Policy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>7.2.2 <\/strong>Additional Plugins and Social Media Plugins<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IMM uses plugins from social media platforms and other providers (e.g. Google Maps) on its Website. These currently include, in particular, YouTube, Google Maps and Google reCAPTCHA. These elements are identifiable to users, typically by corresponding icons, video displays or map sections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IMM has configured these elements so that they are disabled by default. If you activate them (e.g. by clicking or entering information), the operators of the respective social networks may register that you are visiting our Website, where you are accessing it from, and may use this information for their own purposes. The processing of your personal data is then the responsibility of the respective operator in accordance with its privacy policy. IMM does not receive any information about you from the operator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7.3 Hyperlinks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IMM may place hyperlinks to websites of other providers on its Website. By clicking on such a hyperlink, the user is redirected directly to the website of the respective provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IMM has no influence over whether the respective provider complies with the applicable data protection regulations and therefore cannot assume any responsibility in this regard. For information concerning the collection, processing and storage of personal data, users should contact the respective provider or the controller responsible for operating the relevant website directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. E-Newsletter and Postal Advertising<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you subscribe to IMM\u2019s newsletter, we use the data required for this purpose or separately provided by you to regularly send you our email newsletter based on your consent (pursuant to Art. 31 para. 1 FADP \/ Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the e-newsletter, we use the Evalanche tool, which is operated by the software company SC-Networks GmbH, based in Starnberg, Germany. Please refer to the privacy policy of SC-Networks GmbH. The company also provides information on the security and data protection measures implemented for Evalanche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, either by sending a message to the contact address described above or by using the unsubscribe link provided in the newsletter. After you unsubscribe, we will delete your email address unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or unless we reserve the right to use your data for other purposes that are permitted by law and about which we inform you in this Privacy Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, we reserve the right to use your first and last name and postal address for our own advertising purposes, for example to send you relevant offers and information about our products by post. This serves to protect our overriding legitimate interests in advertising to our customers, determined on the basis of a balancing of interests (pursuant to Art. 31 paras. 1 and 2 FADP \/ Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may object to the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message to the contact address described below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. Document Orders<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IMM\u2019s Website provides the option of ordering documents. After entering personal data (title, surname, first name, email address, company and position), the documents are sent directly to the user at the email address provided. IMM also uses the Evalanche tool for this purpose; please refer to the information provided above (see Section 8).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By ordering a document, the user agrees that the data provided, in particular the email address, may be used to contact the user in connection with Iftest products or to send newsletters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10. Electronic Communication<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The electronic transmission of information (e.g. by email or via collaboration platforms) generally involves risks, in particular the risk of unauthorised third parties gaining access to or manipulating information, as well as the risk of misdelivery. Such risks can be reduced through encrypted transmission, for example by encrypting email attachments or using a delivery platform with appropriate encryption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unless you object to unencrypted communication, IMM assumes that, despite your awareness of the associated risks, you have at least implicitly authorised unencrypted communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same applies to video conferences. IMM uses <strong>Microsoft Teams<\/strong> for this purpose. The terms of use and privacy policy of the video conferencing service provider apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the exchange of large volumes of data, IMM uses the <strong>filetransfer.iftest.ch<\/strong> platform. The file-sharing platform is operated on IMM\u2019s internal servers in Switzerland. In addition to the data uploaded, users are required to log in, for which their name and email address are collected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For service cases and enquiries, IMM uses a ticketing system available via <strong>issuetracking.iftest.ch<\/strong>. The ticketing system is operated on IMM\u2019s internal servers in Switzerland. Users are required to log in, for which their name and email address are collected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">11. Participation in Customer Events or Third-Party Events<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IMM regularly participates in trade fairs and organises customer events. If you register for an event with us, we collect various information that is necessary for organising and conducting the event, such as your name, address, company, employer, position, email address and telephone number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This information is required to organise and conduct the event. If you provide us with this or other information in connection with such an event, including during registration, or at third-party events in which IMM participates (e.g. by providing a business card at a trade fair), we will use this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, for example to send you e-newsletters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may object to the processing of your data at any time and request the deletion of your data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>12. Rights of Data Subjects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Data subjects have the right to obtain information about the processing of personal data concerning them (Art. 25\u201327 FADP \/ Art. 15 GDPR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In accordance with the applicable legal provisions, they have the right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing (Art. 32 paras. 1 and 2 FADP \/ Art. 16, Art. 17 and Art. 18 GDPR) and, where applicable, to amend or withdraw their consent to data processing at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, data subjects have the right to object to processing in accordance with the applicable legal provisions (Art. 32 para. 2 lit. a and b FADP \/ Art. 21 GDPR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, subject to the conditions set out in Art. 28 paras. 2\u20133 and Art. 29 FADP \/ Art. 20 GDPR, data subjects have the right to receive the personal data concerning them in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit such data to another controller without hindrance from IMM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Users who believe that IMM\u2019s processing of their personal data violates the GDPR and\/or applicable national data protection legislation have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the Member State of their residence or the place of the alleged infringement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">13. Final Provisions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IMM may amend or supplement this Privacy Policy at any time.
